This is great for thicker liquids, not regular formula I guess.

reading the other two reviews i think I should point out that they are for thicker comfort milk that babies are given if they are not feeding well on normal cows milks ones. they are a special formular that is broken down quicker for their tummys to digest. Due to this it is very thick milk and will not come out of even a number 4 teat. I do agree though that they need to be better labelled for this purpose. the difference with these its a slit not holes. please do not be put off if your baby needs comfort milk.

We new exactly what we were buying and the packaging clearly states everything you need to know on the front so not sure how some people got confused !! Great technology behind the design and comfort of the teat. My only comment would be that there were not clear instructions marked on the 1,2,3 settings on the variable flow rate and it was purely by trial and error as baby's mouth filled up too quickly. I think it would take any baby time to get use to it but that is true of any new baby product parents introduce. Overall it is a good product, I do agree that larger parks with 4 or 6 teats available may be more cost effective to some parents plus keep packaging to a minimum and the environment protected.

I used this product when we wanted to go from number 2 to number 3. I bought it by mistake because the label was not clear and the shopkeeper did not warn me. So it was disaster because it was too fast for 3 months old baby. My baby was out of breath! Now I have started to give thicker food so this product is very very helpful. People don't know about this teat, should be advertised more!

These are a great idea, I got some as my baby was ready for a size three teat so I got these and expected them to be the same as the other teats but just three teats in one. I find my son really struggles with a feed when I'm using them as it comes out too fast and he gets angry and chokes. It would of been a lot of help to know that it's not the same size holes as the normal teats they are bigger which yes is good for thick liquid but normal formula no. I got them to save money by having three in one but its actually cost me more having to buy the size three as well now. Avent please include some instructions how to use them and explain it has to be thicker liquid more clearly.

I thank you for the introduction of this product it has been very good for my daughter but i would like to find out if you have this teats for 6 to 9 months or its just this type for 3 months plus. thanks
